ACBS New England Chapter Meeting – Video Watching

During our last consultation group, there were several folks who were interested in seeing more examples of ACT therapists in action. We thought one way we can do this is by showing the ACT in Action videos in the near future … and we thought April was a great month to try this out. For those folks who just want to come back for the consultation group, we’ll be having that on May 14th.

Since this is our first showing of the videos, we’ll start with the first video, Facing the Struggle. The video is 2 hours long, which won’t leave us time to finish the video, let alone discuss it, so we’ll be looking to see if we could remove some pieces in order to give us at least a brief discussion time. Or, if the folks who are coming would prefer, we could also start a little bit earlier than 6:30 so that less of the video is skipped. We can discuss that with the folks who express interest in coming.

We’re asking folks to Register at EventBrite, so that we know if anyone’s planning to come to see the movie, as this is our first time doing something like this. We are going to start a bit earlier than usual so as to fit more of the video in, and to allow for discussion time afterwards. Feel free to arrive when you can.
